HOW TO EDIT INSTAGRAM COOKIE VIDEOS
Hi friends! Soo….for a long time I wondered how people grew their instagram and facebook profiles quickly, and what the secrets to instagram videos was. So here is all the tea.
BACKGROUNDS
For backgrounds here are a few things you can use.
- Your dining table, this is usually the easiest and best background since you already have it and don’t have to invest any more money on it.
- Professional backdrops. This is a tad more pricy but they can certainly be used for your videos and to take photos of your treats. Heres a link to the one I have Ink & Elm Backdrops https://www.inkandelm.com
- You can also make your own. I buy scrapbook paper from my local craft store. To make the backdrop I usually get 4 pieces of scrapbook paper and tape the with clear packaging tape on the back. (see my video for details)
EQUIPMENT
Here’s my list of equipment.
- My most important piece of equipment is my ARKON MOUNT. You are able to adjust the height, angle, and position of your mount to make sure you get the best video and photo shots. Heres the link to the mount. Model: RCBTABLED 20% off at www.Arkon.com with code VERYCHERRYCAKES
- Light. Light is very very important. When you have a bright area there is no need for artificial lighting, but if you need artificial lighting i usually use and recommend using phone ring lights or a big ring light.
- A cookie swivel. Cookie Turntable, whatever you wanna call it. At first I was skeptical to using this device but I have to say it really does help to move your cookie without you having to actually touch it and accidentally ruin it.
- Scribes. If you don’t have scribes you can certainly use toothpicks to push icing to small spaces on your cookie.
Although I do provide this list for you I do have to say that the only thing you really really need is: a phone to record your video and willingness to put your work out there. Don’t ever feel like you need more than what you have to get started. Share your work because the world needs to see it <3.
